Min-jun Park
Busan, South Korea
“A field becomes visible one imperfect line at a time.”
Biography
Min-jun Park builds dense ink drawings from repeated strokes that shift between topography, weather, and invented notation. Distance reveals structure; proximity reveals labor.
Artist statement
Repetition is not a machine process for me. Every mark contains fatigue, attention, and a slightly different pressure.
In the studio
Park works with brushes cut to irregular points and waterproof ink on hanji. Large sheets are completed in short daily sessions over several months. Mirrored installations move his repeated lines off the page and into changing real space.
